His leadership is guided by the belief that business is still human.
Emerson Whatley, III
Founder, CLO & CTO
Emerson Whatley, III is NiaKai’s Founding CLO & CTO. A Chief Technologist, IT Engineer, and startup attorney focused on AI and emerging technology, he leads NiaKai’s architecture while protecting its IP, privacy, and compliance posture. He brings more than a decade of technology leadership across higher education, public utilities, and early-stage ventures.
